What punchline is

punchline is a daily joke app. You get 25 jokes each day, delivered in a swipeable card format. Jokes reset at local midnight. It's available at punchline.ehzie.com and can be installed to your home screen as a progressive web app.

Free and Pro

Free: 25 jokes per day, unlimited HA's, your last 10 saved jokes visible in the drawer.

Pro ($5 one-time): full HA history in the drawer, ability to load 10 more jokes when the daily deck runs out. Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase, not a subscription. There are no renewals and no future charges.

Payment and billing

Pro purchases are processed by Stripe. When you buy, Stripe collects your email address and payment details. We receive a payment confirmation and your email, which we use only to restore your Pro access if needed.

All prices are in US dollars. Purchases are final except as described in our Refund Policy.

Pro access and device storage

Your Pro status is stored in your browser's local storage. It is tied to the device and browser you purchased on. If you switch devices, clear your browser data, or use a different browser, you will need to restore your Pro access using the email you purchased with.

We are not responsible for loss of Pro access caused by clearing browser data, switching devices without restoring, or using private/incognito mode.

Your data

All app data (jokes seen, HA's saved, settings) is stored only on your device. We have no access to it and cannot recover it if lost. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You may use punchline for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not:

• Scrape, automate, or bulk-download joke content
• Resell or redistribute jokes as your own product
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the app

Service availability

We do our best to keep punchline running, but we don't guarantee uptime. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. If we make significant changes that affect Pro users, we'll communicate them via the app or email.

Disclaimer

punchline is provided as-is. We make no warranties about joke quality (that's subjective anyway), availability, or fitness for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ehzie operates. Any disputes will be resolved there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use of punchline after changes means you accept the updated terms.
