Privacy Policy
punchline is built with privacy in mind. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your jokes stay on your device. Here's exactly what we do and don't collect.
What we collect
Nothing from the app itself. Your jokes seen, HA's saved, streaks, and settings are stored only in your browser's local storage. None of it is sent to any server, ever.
If you buy punchline Pro, Stripe, our payment processor, collects your email address and payment details at checkout. We receive only a payment confirmation and your email, which we use only to restore your Pro access if you switch devices.
What we don't collect
- No advertising trackers
- No location data
- No cookies
- No behavioural profiles
- No account or login required
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
Joke content
Each day, punchline fetches jokes from jokeapi.dev and icanhazdadjoke.com to fill your deck. These are anonymous HTTP requests with no personal data included. Your device's IP address may be visible to these services, as with any normal web request.

How to delete your data
To clear everything the app has stored, go to your browser settings and clear site data for punchline.ehzie.com. This removes all jokes, HA's, and settings from your device.
To delete your Stripe purchase record, email us with the email address used at checkout. We'll remove it promptly.
Children
punchline is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has made a purchase, contact us and we will issue a full refund and delete the record.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of punchline after changes means you accept the updated policy.
