Refund Policy
We want you to feel good about subscribing. If you don't, here's exactly how refunds work.
14-day refund window
If you're not happy with Daybreak Pro, request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment after the trial ends. No questions asked.
To request a refund, email us with the email address used at checkout or your order number. We'll process it promptly.
What's covered
- Refund requests made within 14 days of your first charge (not the trial start date)
- Annual Pro subscriptions billed through LemonSqueezy
After 14 days, payments are final. If you have an exceptional circumstance, reach out — we'll do our best to help.
How refunds work
Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy, our payment provider. Once approved, the refund typically appears on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
After a refund is issued, your account reverts to the free tier. Your reading progress and highlights remain on your device — nothing is deleted.
Free trial
Daybreak Pro includes a 30-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends. We encourage you to use Daybreak during your trial before subscribing. The refund policy applies to paid charges only — there is nothing to refund during a free trial.
Cancellation vs. refund
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not issue a refund for the current period. To get a refund for your current payment, you need to request one explicitly within the 14-day window. After cancelling, you keep Pro access until the end of the billing period.
