1. What Verses is

Verses is a Bible verse discovery app. It helps you find Scripture by mood, season, and moment — and save the verses that speak to you. It is available as a web app at verses.ehzie.com.

2. Free and Pro tiers

Free tier — full search and discovery, up to 10 saved verses stored on your device. No account required.

Pro tier ($7.99/year) — unlimited saved verses plus cross-device sync via Google Firestore. Your collection is backed up to your account and accessible on any device you sign in to.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for new subscribers with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers keep their rate until their subscription renews.

3. Payment and billing

Pro subscriptions are billed annually through LemonSqueezy (lemonsqueezy.com). By subscribing, you agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. LemonSqueezy will send a renewal reminder before each charge.

Trial period: 14 days. No charge until the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial and you will not be billed.

Refund policy: Full refund within 14 days of your first payment after the trial ends. No questions asked. See our Refund Policy. Requests after this window are handled at our discretion.

4. Cancellation

Cancel your Pro subscription any time through the LemonSqueezy customer portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then.

After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your saved verses remain accessible locally; cloud sync will no longer update. Verses beyond the 10-verse free limit will be retained but not editable until you resubscribe or reduce your saved count.

5. Your data

Your saved verses and settings belong to you. We do not claim any rights over your personal data.

You can delete individual verses from your collection at any time, or clear all data from Settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Verses is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute the app's content or code at scale
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the service

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Verses reliable and available. We make no guarantee of uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time and will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Verses is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for loss of data, interruption of service, or any other damages arising from use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Verses if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this document. Continued use of Verses after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
